Joytech Elitar represents the best qualities an e-pipe can offer. It has a stylish design and includes a variety of high-tech functions that can only be found in advanced mods.

From a visual standpoint, this electronic pipe is a mix between a classic tobacco pipe and a state of the art vape mod, as it includes an OLED display that allows you to set the desired temperature, voltage, and power. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to customize my experience, although I have to admit that it took me some time before I’ve got the hang of how the menu worked.

Now, regarding the performance, even though the max power of 75W isn’t that big when compared to high-end mods, most vapers never really go higher than that, so it shouldn’t be a problem. The Elitar includes a 2-ml tank that supports a vast array of coils and materials, giving you a lot of freedom in this aspect.

An e-pipe isn’t designed to substitute your regular tobacco pipe but rather represents the new way of smoking that fights for the right of becoming socially acceptable

Here are the pros and cons that deserve your attention:

“Tradition-meets-modernity” design

Five color options available

Impressive functionality

Adequate power output

Useful OLED screen

Takes some time to get used to navigating the menu

The fire button is rather sensitive, which might lead to accidental firings

Zen Pipe

Zen Pipe
  • Power: 15-24W
  • Tank Capacity: 1.2 ml
  • Coil Resistance: 0.7 ohm
  • Output Current: 500 mA / 1000 mA
  • Output Voltage: 4.2V

I’ve included the Zen Pipe in this list because of its intuitive design, smooth rosewood exterior, and long-lasting battery. Additionally, this e-pipe is really comfortable to hold in your hand and doesn’t take up a lot of space.

The first thing you’ll notice about this electronic smoking pipe is that it doesn’t allow you to tailor your experience due to the absence of an OLED screen. However, if you’re just starting your journey in the world of vaping, this fact actually might prove to be beneficial.

All you have to do to begin vaping is load up the tank and start inhaling, as the Zen Pipe is puff-activated. Once the bowl lights up, you’ll know that the device is working.

The only complaint I have about this electronic pipe is that the amount of vapor it produced and its flavor were rather disappointing, no matter how hard I tried to inhale.

Take a look at the main pros and cons:

Very comfortable to hold in your hand

Classy rosewood design

Easy to use

Includes spare batteries and a charger

Doesn’t produce a lot of vapor and the flavor is quite mediocre

Doesn’t offer a noticeable throat hit, which might disappoint some users

vPipe 3

vPipe 3
  • Voltage Output: 4.2V
  • Power: 15-25W
  • Tank Capacity: 1.2 ml
  • Resistances: 0.7 ohm
  • Quiescent Current: 5 uA

The vPipe 3 finds itself on the list of the best electronic smoking pipes because it comes as close as possible to the actual look and feel of a traditional wooden pipe.

Made by the same company as the Zen Pipe, this model shares a lot of similarities with it, but it also has several distinctive features. The first thing I’ve noticed was the improved design, as the brass element looks better than ever and the rosewood surface is even more polished.

An electronic smoking pipe can be activated either automatically or by pressing a button directly attached to the battery and forming an electric circuit

The vPipe 3 is also launched manually, but it offered me a richer taste than the Zen Pipe, even though the thickness of the vapor could still be better.

Unlike other items on this list, this electronic pipe uses a 18350 battery, which is substantially smaller but offers the same power. From my experience, a single charge lasts for a week of everyday use.

Here are the key pros and cons for your consideration:

Vintage look and feel

Beautiful brass ornaments

Long battery life

Very comfortable mouthpiece

Comes with a lot of goodies in the kit

The amount of produced vapor is a bit disappointing

The ornate decor may be not everyone’s cup of tea

Smok Guardian III

Smok Guardian III
  • Variable Wattage: 1-75W
  • Output Voltage: 9V
  • Resistance Range: 0.06-2 ohm (Temperature Mode), 0.1 – 3 ohm (Wattage Mode)
  • Tank capacity: 3.5 ml
  • OLED display

The Smok Guardian III is a solid contender for the title of the best vape pipe due to its impressive functionality, large tank capacity, and black piano finish.

This vape pipe is nicely built, and since it’s made of polycarbonate, the Smok Guardian III is very light and feels like a genuine filled-up pipe in my hand. Furthermore, this device allows you to control the temperature and power of the vaping process.

Here’s the deal:

As the Smok Guardian III electronic pipe features an OLED menu, it took me some time to study its functionality. Thankfully, the manual is put together really well, and you can learn how to vape the way you want in just a couple of sessions.

I’ve been mostly using this e-pipe in the normal power mode, and I have to say that its performance is on par with most advanced vape mods, as the vapor was thick and rich in taste.

Let’s see the key pros and cons:

Stylish black piano finish

Large tank capacity

Strong maximum power output

Nice flavor and thick vapor

OLED display allows for a tailored experience

Works with RBAs

Upgradeable firmware

Studying the manual is a must

The button is a bit rattly

Kamry K1000

Kamry K1000
  • Output Wattage: 30W
  • Output Voltage: 3.7V
  • Atomizer resistance: 0.5 ohm
  • Atomizer capacity: 4 ml
  • Built-in 1100mAh battery
Check the Price

The Kamry K1000 electronic smoking pipe won a place on this list because of its superior tank capacity, USB-rechargeable built-in battery, and the several layers of control mechanisms designed to save battery life and to protect the vape pipe from overheating.

Design-wise, the Kamry K1000 represents the elegant result of combining stainless steel with a rustic walnut wood color. Additionally, this electronic pipe is shaped in such a way that it can be left standing on the table without falling over.

You can activate the Kamry by pressing the button that also allows you to check the battery charge. At this point, I have to admit that battery life is the only aspect of this e-pipe that left me disappointed. I feel like I spent as much time charging the Kamry as using it. However, if you’re a vaper that prefers short sessions, this shouldn’t be a problem to you.

Regarding the performance, the K1000 electronic smoking pipe managed to produce a satisfying amount of vapor, and its flavor quality did my favorite e-liquid justice.

Consider the following pros and cons:

Produces large clouds

Built-in battery and USB charger

Walnut color rustic design

10-second shut-off mechanism

Unique style

Can work with various tanks

Low battery life

May be not powerful enough for more demanding users

E-Pipes Explained

E-Pipes Explained

Pipe smoking dates back years and years and represents the oldest method of tobacco smoking. No wonder numerous manufacturers make electronic versions so that vapers could also enjoy the process and the fancy-looking devices.

Now, modern e-pipes vary in size and style. Some of them look like the traditional, classy ones, others have a more futuristic design. However, whatever the case it, the basic construction is always the same. Electronic pipes typically consist of a bowl, a stem, and a mouthpiece. There’s always a battery (duh!) that activates the atomizer, allowing it to vaporize the e-juice.

E-pipes are designed to mimic the traditional pipe smoking process but don’t involve the same actions. For instance, you don’t have to compact the tobacco into the bowl or even to light it up. With an e-pipe, all you have to do is press the button. It couldn’t be easier! If you are more interested in traditional smoking don’t miss on this e-cigarettes guide.

Another point you should know is the e-juices. You see, the majority of e-liquids that are used in e-pipes have a pure tobacco flavor (again, to mimic the traditional smoking). However, there are e-juice manufacturers that offer various flavors, from desserts to fresh fruits. So, there’s always something for your taste.

Choosing Your E-Pipe

Choosing Your E-Pipe

If you’re anything like me, you also feel excited when shopping for a new vaping device. I mean, the available options are nearly endless, and there are so many fun items on the modern market! However, if you are about to buy your first e-pipe, you may be feeling lost and confused.

To help you deal with that, I will share some factors you should be familiar with:

  • There are two main types of e-pipes: manual and automatic. A manual one will require you to press the button to start vaping, while an automatic pipe will activate the battery during each draw that you make.
  • Manual pipes are usually more powerful and offer a wider spectrum of functional features.
  • Your choice will actually depend on your personal preferences. Do you want a classy-looking device? Are you looking for something that offers great vapor production? How limited is your budget?
  • If the pipe is going to be your primary vaping device, consider getting a model with a more powerful battery.
  • If you want a mechanical (manual) device, you should be familiar with the Ohm’s law and the battery safety rules.
  • And remember: you can always go to a vape store (if there’s one in your city) and test a couple of devices before buying one. See how the pipe feels in your hand, check it for wiggly and wobbly parts, and simply listen to what your heart desires.

Let’s face it:

E-pipes look cool.

I mean, don’t you feel like Sherlock when holding one in your hand?

Anyway, while the design is what can buy us over, we should concentrate more on the performance since it’s the most important thing when it comes to vaping. Want to know which model managed to impress me the most among those five? The SmokGuardian III. Yes, it doesn’t look that classy, but let’s not forget about what it hides behind that exterior.

It’s a rather advanced model that can help you customize your experience and find the suitable settings for your perfect vaping session. It produces thick clouds and can pleasantly surprise you with the flavor quality. I am absolutely sure that this pipe can make you happy. So, waste no more time and vape away, my friend!

Of course these are mass market products. Do you think pipe should be custom made from the rare varieties of wood? Please leave a comment below and let me know.

Be careful when you make such grandiose statements as the 5 BEST pipes..

The epipes listed here are the cheap mass-produced ones and not at all ‘the best’ even in that category.

There are some truly brilliant master craftsmen who make epipes that well and truly crap on all of the above.

The liquid keeps me wanting to vape even more. Joytech Elitar has got my desired liquid capacity, 2ml E-liquid capacity isn’t any bad.
The fire button is very sensitive and the temperature change isn’t very swift as good..
My vaping experience is yet to be rated.

Zen Pipe has got my attention here. The outwards design is quite fantastic. The features aren’t bad too just as i am a long duration vaper, I need a vape pipe with lasting battery quality.

The limited vapour quality and flavour production is a little draw back on my side.
